About Dânica

Founded in 1975, Dânica is an industry reference in the design, manufacture and installation of complete thermal insulation systems. With an experienced team of engineer and the most modern industrial units in Brazil and Mexico, Dânica is able to meet the needs of clients from a wide range of sectors.

1998

Dânica Created

Dânica is created through the acquisition of Sabroe’s thermal insulation department by then director, Danish businessman Per Barke Nevermann. At the same time, Grupo Sabroe was acquired by York, forming what was at the time the largest international group in the refrigeration industry.

2002

Cleanrooms

Dânica begins operating in the cleanroom sector, and quickly becomes an industry leader in Latin America. Throughout the next six years, investment made in modular panels by the pharmaceutical industry increases from less than 10% to more than 90%.

2007

2007 New plant opened in Toluca/MX

Manufacturing plant in Toluca/MX, which is dedicated to cleanrooms markets in Central and North America, is inaugurated.

2007

Joint venture operation started

A joint venture operation is initiated between Dânica and the Norwegian company Norac - Dânica-Norac - and is aimed at supplying interiors for the marine & offshore sectors.

2009

New manufacturing facility opened in Aparecida do Taboado/MS

Dânica opens a plant in Aparecida to Taboado/MS, which later comes to house two continuous production lines for high-end thermal insulation panels.

2013

Transfer of production lines

Marine and cleanroom production lines are transferred to the facility in Aparecida do Taboado, strengthening its position as Dânica's main industrial plant.

2020

Dânica Rebranding

Dânica is rebranded as a company offering all of the value, reliability, and culture that comes with more than 40 years on the marketplace as an industry leader in thermal insulation solutions driven by ethics, accountability, and inspiration.
